Northeast Park takes its name from it’s geographical location, being precisely northeast of downtown Minneapolis. The neighborhood is mostly a quiet, residential area, although Northeast Park proper is a popular spot for locals, boasting playing fields, a water park, and a golf putting course. Art galleries and breweries are not far from Northeast Park, however, and I-35 grants residents quick access to downtown as well. Most homes are single-family residences in the Victorian style, but some newer homes have been built in the last several years.
